CHIEF GLENN A. NICOL

Glenn Nicol became police chief with the London Division of Police on December 28, 2015. Chief Nicol started his career with the Marysville Division of Police in 1979 as a dispatcher. He completed his basic peace officer training at Clark State in 1980 and worked through the ranks as an auxiliary officer, patrol officer, sergeant and deputy chief. Chief Nicol spent ten years as an investigator before being appointed as an assistant chief in 2001 where he remained until he retired from
the agency in 2013.

In addition to numerous technical law enforcement courses, Chief Nicol has completed the School of Police Staff and Command from Northwestern University, the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA and the Certified Law Enforcement Executive program through the Ohio Law Enforcement Foundation. Chief Nicol also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University.
