Sgt. Cooper Earns CLEE Designation

Sgt. Donovan Cooper was recognized today for completing the Ohio Law Enforcement Foundation's Certified Law Enforcement Executive program. The intensive program covered 14 months of master's level training in law enforcement leadership, covering ten different learning modules of Organizational Risk Management, Change Management, Ethics, Vision, Mission & Guiding Principles, Interpersonal Skills, Human Resources, Police Legitimacy & Community Relations, Practical Leadership, Strategic Planning, and Resource Allocation & Budgeting. As part of CLEE XXVII, Sgt. Cooper joins the elite group of approximately 580 law enforcement executives earning the designation of CLEE in the State of Ohio, over the past 27 years; including two associated with London Police, Ch. Glenn Nicol and retired Ch. David Wiseman. The participation in professional development and training of this magnitude is a continuous effort to facilitate the vision of the agency to become a valued community partner and a respected agency in the public safety arena.
