City of London Police Officer

The City of London, Ohio, is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. The London Division of Police serves a population of over 10,000 and is responsible for an area of 9 square miles. The department has an authorized strength of 21 sworn officers. The City of London is seeking candidates who possess the personal character and professional skills necessary to serve in a position of public trust. Applications will be accepted from individuals who are at least 21 years of age by date of hire and possess a valid Ohio driver’s license. City of London Firefighter/EMT or Firefighter Paramedic

The City of London, Ohio will be accepting applications and conducting a civil service examination for the positions of FIREFIGHTER/EMT or FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC until August 30,2024.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications to be considered for the examination. An applicant meeting minimum qualifications must be at least 18 years of age, in good physical condition, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, possess a valid driver’s license, and possess State of Ohio Firefighter I & II and Emergency Medical Technician Certifications. Applicants are required to pass a physical agility test, background check, drug screen and a physical examination prior to employment.

4.Current part-time firefighter employment credit- 10 % additional credit for current City of London Div. of Fire/EMS part-time employees who have been actively employed by the City of London since January 1, 2024.
