The Madison County Arts Council hosted its 26th Annual Youth Artist Showcase at London United Methodist Church in conjunction with the Kurt Lattimer Aspiring Artist Awards.
The event saw a great turnout of performers and audience members. Ten acts performed, including soloists, instrumentalist, and choirs, representing all areas of Madison County.
The Madison County Arts Council is dedicated to providing opportunities for the community and youth to pursue their dreams in the arts.
Monies collected through a freewill offering will be used to support the Arts Council’s annual scholarships to five Madison County graduates. Students interested in applying for a scholarship can check the council’s website and Facebook page for more information and applications. The scholarship application has been sent to guidance counselors at each county school. The application deadline is March 29.
