Please be advised of major downtown street closures and traffic adjustments scheduled from Wednesday, June 24 through Saturday, June 27, 2026, to accommodate The London Strawberry Festival berry Festival and The London Cobra Show.
Motorists are encouraged to plan alternative routes and expect delays in the downtown area. Below are the specific closure schedules and affected areas:
🍓 London Strawberry Festival Closures
Duration: Wednesday, June 24 at 5:00PM through Saturday, June 27 at 11:00PM
The following streets will be closed for vendor setup, festival activities, and tear-down:
• S. Main Street: From High Street to the railroad tracks.
• First Street: From Union Street to Oak Street.
• Second Street: From Union Street to Oak Street.
• Public Parking Lot on S Oak St and W Second St
• Parade Closure – SATURDAY ONLY – N. Main St, High St, and S Walnut St.
In addition to the ongoing festival footprint, the following areas will be closed on Saturday to accommodate the car show and parade lineup:

Duration: Saturday, June 27 from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Main Street: Extended closure from State Route 56 to High Street.
• Park Avenue: From Main Street to Walnut Street (blocked for parade assembly).
• 4th Street: From Walnut Street to Oak Street.
• 5th Street: From Walnut Street to Oak Street.
🗺️ Saturday Parade Route & Traffic Note
• Parade Arrival: The Ohio Cobra Club parade will enter town with a Madison County Sheriff's escort via State Route 56 at approximately 9:15 AM on Saturday.
• Route: The parade will head south on Main Street to 5th Street, detour east/west for one block, and head back toward the designated Main Street parking areas.
🚗 Parking & Local Access
• On-Street Parking: On-street parking within the closure zones will be prohibited during the times listed above. "No Parking" signs and barricades will be posted accordingly.
• Local Businesses & Residents: Normal operations will be affected within these zones.

UPDATE: MOWSD has completed the repairs to the main on Deger Dr. Customer water pressure has been restored. MOWSD has issued a precautionary boil advisory due to the nature of the repair and depressurization for customers from 4 Deger Dr. through 14 Deger Dr. This information has also been posted to the MOWSD FB Page and Alert System.
ORIGINAL: MOWSD has confirmed a water main break on Degger in London. Crews are currently responding to make necessary repairs. Residents in this area may experience low / no water pressure while repairs are being made. At this point, there are no boil advisories in effect.
